Today, the EU-funded Project “Further Support to Kosovo Institutions in the fight against Organised Crime, Corruption and Violent Extremism” held the closing ceremony of the training modules implemented by the Carabinieri MSU for Kosovo Police on behalf of the Project. The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Italy to Kosovo Mr. Cristoforo Sardi, Head of Kosovo Assembly Mr. Kadri Veseli, Minister of Internal Affairs Mr. Ekrem Mustafa, Carabinieri MSU Commander Mr. Capodivento and EU Office Deputy Head Mr. Ricardo Serri.

The four training modules focused on different aspects of Countering Terrorism, with 80 Kosovo Police officers being trained. The modules also included Training of Trainers, and during the ceremony 8 police officers received trainer certificates.
